David Wildash is Apatura’s Chief Strategy Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Starting his career as a graduate at National Grid Group, David gained a broad industry perspective through senior roles spanning regulation, strategy, markets, and operations.

Before joining Apatura, he served as Head of Connections at the National Energy System Operator, where he led all transmission connection offers and drove key connection reforms to modernise the grid. His strategic insight is instrumental in advancing Apatura’s mission towards net zero.

David is also a Non-Executive Board Member of FlexAssure and holds a Bachelor’s in Business and Geography from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Strathclyde.
