Main Purpose of Role
As Researcher at Apatura, you will play a vital role in advancing the understanding and development of the renewable energy sector. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting research, analysing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to innovate and improve Apatura’s understanding of relevant sector developments and policy.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- Research: Conduct thorough literature reviews and primary research to explore various aspects of the renewable energy sector including:
- Conduct thorough research on new regulations, technologies, and policies affecting the battery storage industry.
- Analyse fire safety regulations and environmental policies to ensure compliance and identify potential impacts on operations.
- Monitor government policies and market trends to anticipate changes that may affect the company’s strategic direction.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of relevant sector metrics, public reports, and other relevant and accessible information.
- Industry Engagement.
- Attend industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast of the latest developments and network with key stakeholders.
- Gather insights and knowledge from industry events to inform research and strategic initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Collect, organise, and analyse data related to renewable energy, energy production, environmental impact, economic feasibility, and policy implications.
- Technology Assessment: Evaluate emerging renewable energy technologies, materials, and techniques to help appraise how they might be applicable to Apatura.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external colleagues to scope out research and investigative needs for Apatura, ensuring insight and knowledge is leveraged. Provide expert insights and support to various departments based on research findings.
- Report Writing: Prepare insightful reports, research papers, and presentations to communicate research findings, methodologies, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing the development and deployment of renewable energy technologies, ensuring compliance and addressing any regulatory barriers.

Knowledge & Experience
Strong background in renewable energy technologies, energy systems, and sustainability principles preferred.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a related field.
